Why Have I chosen Fardelejos?

I have chosen to study Fardelejos because I had never herd about them and I was interested to find out more about this almond filled pastry. When I found out about these pastries I knew that it was going to be hard but I wanted a challenge.

Where Do Fardelejos Come From?

Arnedo is a small Spanish town in La Rioja which is famous for their Fardelejos, Le Fardelejo. Fardelejos are little pastry pockets that are filled with a almond sauce. These are important to Arnedo because they are made for Arnedo's Patron Saint festival in September.
